well?
i hope they wake up.
by this time of the year the year before last year, the whole band was enthusiastic. although we didn't really meet the seniors a lot, you could feel the tense yet excited atmosphere. from the looks on everyone's faces, there wasn't a doubt that the concert wasn't going to fail. even if the possibility of failing lingered as an insecurity in some of their minds, it didn't really matter for everyone had faith that they would do well.
during band camp, we were abandoned (for a good cause) - the seniors were off for band prac. for most of the time. i was surprised that we were involved in concert prep as well.. remember the edelweiss flowers?(: that was perhaps the main reason why we felt that we really belonged to the band, in some way or another. the seniors needed not to tell us. and bonding wasn't all about playing/having fun. lastly, spirit wasn't built based on talking and being friendly. perhaps we just knew that this is a commitment and we should do the best for it even if we only helped in drawing the flowers, cutting the cloth, destroying some pieces due to the pasting :P, shifting the chairs.
but blah, what am i rattling on about? some of us have not even started practising some pieces. and also, where is
the score? what is the fingering?!
o.Odon't even talk about props by band camp.. ):
